The library will begin its summer exhibition season with a show of “fabric art” by Rindge resident, Carol Lightfoot Ross. Her subject matter now ranges from realistic landscapes and portraits, to imaginary images, and pictures within pictures, both small and large scale. Using layers of different fabrics, threads, paint and beading, she creates depth and interesting textures.
The exhibit at the library will begin on Saturday morning, May 17 with an opening reception from 10:00 to 11:30, and will continue through June 21.
