Minutes of the Meeting

Fitzwilliam Town Library Board of Trustees

27 March, 2023

Present:  Trustees Robin Marra, Richard Marshall, Carole Beckwith, Pam Troccia and Nancy Fey-Yensan. Also in attendance were Alternate Trustee Brian Doerpholz and Executive Director, Kate Thomas.

Robin Marra called the meeting to order at 2:50 p.m. in the Quick Meeting Room of the Library. Robin detailed a conversation that was had with Executive Director, Kate Thomas at her annual employee evaluation regarding the new full-time Assistant Director position requested in the 2023 budget that was subsequently approved by the Board of Selectmen.

After discussion, Nancy Fey-Yensan made a motion to change the title of the new full-time position from Assistant Director to Assistant Librarian.  The motion was seconded by Carole Beckwith and adopted unanimously.

A motion to adjourn the meeting at 3:45 p.m. was made by Nancy Fey-Yensan, seconded by Pam Troccia and unanimously adopted.
