Nancy reported that the Long Range Planning Committee will meet June 17, 2014 at 1:30. So far, two people from Fitzwilliam have expressed a desire to be part of this work. This process is expected to take some time with community involvement being vital.

Two checks, one for $19.43 and the other for $2071.90, have been received from the Trustees of the Trust Funds. This is income derived from our book trust funds.

Art show updates: Lynne Brown will have her opening on June 14th at 10am. Her show will run for four weeks. Bill Barefoot will be the next exhibitor with a tentative opening on July 26th.

We approved the list of Emergency Procedures with the proviso that the phone numbers of those to be called in the event of an emergency are arranged according to priority.

We began a review of Bulletin Board Policy which will continue at our July meeting. We will also review our gift policy in July.

We had a brief discussion on what to do with a CD which is maturing on June 6, 2014. We postponed making any decisions until Barbara can report back with some options.

Librarian’s report: Circulation was 2399, an increase of 32% over a year ago, but down slightly from last month. 15 programs were ongoing and the Mango Language usage was up. DK Eyewitness Travel Guides are on order.

Repairs to lights and toilet were made.

There is a New Graphic Novel section in the Children’s area and a magazine rack for their periodicals will soon be installed.

Planning for summer programs is well underway. Sign up begins June 16th. Jeremy will offer film making for the older children. Jeff Warner will be doing a family music program on June 25th and Magician Peter Boie will be the grand finale on August 14th.

We adjourned at 7:15.

Respectfully submitted,
